Iberdrola Tower, Abandoibarra, Bilbao. Foundations and structureThe Iberdrola Tower is part of the urban projects developed for the Nervion riverside recovery in the city of Bilbao, and is located within the former industrial area known as "Campa de los Ingleses" in Abando-Ibarra, joining the nearby Guggenheim museum as a new landmark. It is a 165 meters above ground construction, including 40 floors above ground and up to 5 parking floors under ground, adding up to 190 meters. Upon completion, it surpassed the BEC tower height by 65 meters, becoming the tallest building in Biscay and ranking eighth in Spain. |
