Abstract: |
Sustainable Living - Assessing the quality of sustainability single-family homes.Single-family homes are the most popular forms of living. Large parts of the population aspire to the possession of a family home. At the same time houses are in critique to not to be sustainable because they contribute to increased land-and resource requirements, and often cannot be adapted to the changing circumstances of the owner. To counter this criticism, we need a simple transparent instrument to represent the quality of sustainable family homes. As presented in this paper, the quality evaluation system of a single-family home may be assessed in an ecological, economic and social-functional perspective with little effort. Based on this, a targeted optimization of the building and thereby of sustainability is possible. |
