Abstract:

Coalport Bridge carries the class 3 Broseley to Brockton road over the river Severn in the village of Coalport, County of Shropshire, within the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site, at United Kingdom National Grid Reference SJ 702 021. The bridge is owned jointly by Shropshire County Council (SCC) and the Borough of Telford and Wrekin (BTW). The bridge is a Grade II Listed Building and a Scheduled Ancient Monument (Grade II stands for particularly significant buildings of more than local interest).
