Hydro gates at the dam Kali Gandaki (Nepal).At the Kali Gandaki River a large hydroelectric power plant is under construction. This paper first gives a short survey over the hydromechanical steel structures of this plant. Then the spillway tainter gates are described in more details because they are of unconventional size and loading. |
