Abstract:

A major area of focus for anyone involved in the energy transition to net zero is attracting, growing and retaining new talent with the appropriate skills that will enable delivery of a net zero target for Northern Ireland by 2050. This article explores the ways in which NIE Networks, the network operator in Northern Ireland, is working in collaboration with the sector, Government and Education providers to address the skills shortage.
