MECANOTUBO advancing shoring systemThis newsarticle presents the Avancing Shoring System develop by MECANOTUBO and its application to the construction of bridges. This article describes the mechanism and the complete development from its conception, the technical solution applied, the manufacturing process and its first applications. From a technical point of view, it underlines a number of characteristics that add certain application advantages. It also explains the system of structural analysis used, the resolved problems and a detail description of the manufacturing system in the search of the maximum effectiviness and quality of the finish product. Finally, three recent applications are presented; describing the geometric characteristics of the viaducts and the working systems used.These mentioned applications are supported with photographs, with the more significant technical data and the usual performances. |
