Abstract: |
This Government Office Tower is part of the new urban development currently underway in downtown Haifa. The structure is a 37-storey tower (approx. 40 m high), with a total floor area of more than 150 000 mm². It was completed in February 2002. The tower has an underground floor level containing office archives; two stories for commercial use; a double-height entrance level; twenty five floors of office space and additional technical floors. The building resembles a huge boat with full sails and is covered with curtain walls combining aluminium and glass. The Tower's concrete columns are covered with aluminium cladding panels. |
