Abstract:

A comparative analysis based on a series of numerical simulation experiments in the ANSYS software for determining the bearing capacity and the optimal arrangement of CFRP dowel pins in the joints of wooden structures. As variable parameters, the number of pins in the joint and the angles of pasting dowels into the wood are taken. Generalized conclusions are drawn on various configuration options with the selection of optimal design performance parameters for the same load. The voltage distribution iso-poles are shown, the dependence curves of the controlled parameters are plotted for each case considered. A comparative analysis of the stress- strain state of the compound with the results of calculations is carried out according to the procedure stipulated by the current norms and rules of the strength. Recommendations are given on the arrangement of dowels, as well as on the improvement of joints with the use of composite materials.
