Galibier tunnel (one-way, 370 m length) was closed since 1976, due to its bad condition. It is located on an alpin widely touristic route and is going to open again, due to the will of two departments it belongs. The article describes preliminary studies and tendering. Works will allow that tunnel to recover adequate geometrical data. |
