| Abstract: | The mostassaf is the custodian of weights and measurements; he controls and intervenes in production, sales conditions, the quality of products, the management of the market space’s sanitation, consumer protection and fraud. His action suggests a new reading of the frameworks of the trades’ regulation of work in their day-to-day application. By intervening in the quality of the products or in the form sales take, does the mostassaf contribute to the standards of the trades or does he restrict them? |
