Abstract:

This article on 'regenerative engineering' looks at the requirements for engineers and highlights the educational change needed for the industry to put this into practice. Synopsis In this article, Chris Wise explores the concept of 'regenerative engineering' as a design approach that seeks to enable the flourishing of all life for all time, setting out his vision of the shifts in skillsets, values and thought processes that will be required of engineers, and examining the educational change needed to underpin this.
