Puente sobre el río Deba (Autopista Vitoria – Eibar)

The bridge over the River Deba forms part of the Malzaga connection on the Vitoria – Eibar Motorway. The bridge is set at the mouth of a tunnel and crosses a railway, a river and a road. The strict clearance conditions imposed by the route of the section as it passes over the road, has made it necessary to develop a special solution for the bridge and the deck has been designed with a “U” shape concrete section with edges which prolong past the road platform and where the prestressing emerges from the upper part in the form of ties which run from towers integrally connected to the deck.
