Puente móvil sobre la bocana de la dársena interior del puerto de Valencia

The article presents and comments on the bascule bridge built over the entrance to the internal basin of the Port of Valencia and describes the construction of the same. This bridge has many innovative aspects both in terms of design and construction and required a duly coordinated multidisciplinary team for the same. This is one of the few bascule bridges in Spain and one of the even fewer lifting railway bridges in the country.
