Abstract:

Construction project of the Alamillo Bridges. Sevilla (Spain)

The so-called Paso del Alamillo is formed by one viaduct of 526 m over the Cartuja island and a cable stayed bridge, with a span of 200 m, over the San Jeronimo meander. This article deals with the main characteristics, from both points of view designed and construction, of the cable stayed bridge over the San Jeronimo meander, which connects the Cartuja island to the city of Sevilla.
