Projections of spatial systems of forces.

Remembering a lecture by Jörg Schlaich some years ago, the author tries to become familiar with the acting of forces in three-dimensional structures by using the traditional methods of descriptive geometry applied to spatial systems of forces. Using planar projections of such a system refers to methods well known. It can be a powerful and illustrative tool for a better understanding how a complex structure works.
