Presentation of the "Eurocode 2" Part 1 and summary of activities of CEN TC 250/SC 2The situation of the Eurocode 2 within the frame of the Building Products Directive is analyzed. Details are given about the work that has been done for the preparation of this Eurocode and also about the Parts currently in progress. It is discussed the future status of the European P restandards. Some preliminary conclusions about the application of Eurocode 2 in comparison with the existing National Codes are given. |
