Abstract:

In most AAC factories, a full control technology for steam distribution is available. Normally, measured process data like pressure and temperatures of autoclaves are stored in the system. These data are used for visual analysis of the process curves. But the potential to use these data for statistical analyses is not exploited. In this work, it is shown, how to use these data for longā€term statistical analyses to get hints for the optimization of the plant engineering. Leaks in fresh steam valves, defective condensate drains or slowly decreasing vacuum technology are recognized. Continuous monitoring of the proportion of transferred steam from finished autoclave cycles can be used for continuous improvement and allows plant comparisons. The analyses are useful to avoid sudden occurring defects in plant engineering and quality problems. It also supports process optimization and avoids energy losses in AAC factories.
