Overpass on the N.A.F.A

This paper summarizes the experience in the project and construction of a ser of bridges over the high speed railways between Getafe and Villaseca. The proposed solution gives one more alternative to the currently used. It consists of a deck made with postensioned rectangular beams, that can be constructed on site. Once the beams have been put in place it comes the concerting of a brace beam to establish the continuity of the deck and the pier. This continuity is made just with reinforcement. We will expose the structural criteria, connection details, process of construction and load test results.
