Footbridge over Canal Norte, in the enclosure EXPO'92 (Isla de La Cartuja, Sevilla)

Set of three bridges for pedestrian use and, eventually, for traffic of vehicles. These structures overpass the Canal Norte, in the enclosure of EXPO'92, in Isla de La Cartuja (Sevilla). The structural solution adopted is similar for the three bridges. The deck of each bridge is a three span continuous slab of prestressed concrete with haunches located on the intermediate bearings. The peculiar alignment of the radways, that run over the bridges, determines the deck edges which denomination is related with their own singular shape in plant: skew bridge, curved vridge and composite bridge (this last with two special characteristics: skew and curvature).
