Multi-storey car park "Century hall" Bochum - a perforated masonry façade for the industrial area "Industriepark West".

The new multi-storey car park integrates well and self-understanding into the surrounding, because the height is quite small, and the architectural concept of Westpark, the so-called "green frame" is fulfilled perfectly. The building is oriented parallel to the "Thyssen-Krupp-Hall", means it faces to east, south and west as like the town itself showing a perforated façade consisting of black-grey-red sintered coal bricks, and to north the green roof scenery symbolically migrates to the acclivity of the driving ramp. The dominating buildings in this area - "Colosseum", water tower and the century hall - are still visible from each viewing direction. Two separate moving systems allow a very simple orientation for car-drivers and pedestrians as well and assure a short and safe moving within the guidance system.
