The 760 km long Konkan Railway in western India has called for the construction of 143 major bridges, 1,670 minor bridges and 75 tunnels. Among the major bridges, Panval Nadhi Viaduct is the tallest, with columns up to 65 m in height. The bridge crosses a deep valley between two tunnels over Panval Nadhi near Ratnagari. |
