Abstract:

This paper deals with wood filler ozone treatment aimed at increasing the adhesion of binders to wood. It describes the processes of thermal and ozone treatment and presents sketches of experimental units. It provides the curves of the results of the study to determine water absorption and strength, proving the feasibility of using this pretreatment method. The proposed two-stage treatment of wood filler is relevant in the production of wood-polymer composites.
