Trade fair centre of Nuremberg - new main entrance.The entrance called "Mitte" of Nuremberg's trade fair centre did not do justice to its purpose as the main entrance. Barely perceptible from the outside, the low-ceilinged lobby led into building structure. Instead of simply adding another module to the existing trade fair compound built in the 1960s, the draft of kadawittfeldarchitektur sets up a new super-feature: The 20 m high steel slat roof measuring 256 by 57 m spans the forecourt of the trade fair and forms the roof of the new entrance building. |
