Abstract: |
Revised DIN 4108-2 - Heat protection in summer with Calcium Silicate constructions. The revised Standard DIN 4108-2 "Thermal protection and energy economy in buildings - Part 2: Minimum requirements to thermal insulation" considers new climate data from the German Weather Service as well as a map with modified summer climate regions which follow from the changed climatic conditions. Furthermore the simplified analysis method concerning summer overheating has been subject to a basic revision. The previous requirement indicator "Overheating-hours" was replaced by the new indicator "Overheating-degree-hours". Ambition of the revision of the standard is an enhanced prediction accurateness of the prognosis method. |
