New tables for the classification of the fire resistance of masonry.A new approach for tabulated data for the definition of the fire resistance of masonry walls on the basis of fire resistance tests is presented. Maximum vertical loads to hit a defined fire resistance are given — depending on additional boundary conditions, such as unit-mortar-combination and statical system of the walls — for different wall thicknesses. This approach allows the fire design of walls irrespective of the design method applied in "cold design". |
