Abstract:

The University of East Anglia’s Enterprise Centre at Norwich Research Park is a ground-breaking project which showcases low carbon, sustainable building with a highly ecological specification, in a design that achieves Passivhaus standards and a BREEAM Outstanding rating. This article explains how the commitment to the sourcing of local materials makes the building an exemplar for low-carbon specification as well as local industry engagement in the UK.
