Due to the demanding site logistics and special requirements during the casting the manufacturing of massive floor plates must be executed very carefully. Therefore this article is focussed on the execution. In this context it was investigated how the shear force transmission is reduced by construction joints and the bonding behavior is influenced by an insufficient final compaction of the top layer.
