Abstract:

Minimal/Maximal: The new headquarter of the HDI-Insurance Group in Hanover, Germany

The new headquarter of the HDI Insurance Group in Hanover was designed by architect Christoph Ingenhoven. It offers maximal user comfort and minimal consumption of energy and resources. An important precondition for the open, transparent appearance of the building is the filigree load-bearing structure designed and engineered by Werner Sobek (Frankfurt/Stuttgart). The following article describes the most important specifics of this structure.
