Abstract: |
The roof of the swimming pools in Imperia was built in 1992, two years after the erection of a similar roof for the Olympic swimming facility in Rome. Common to both structures is the use of long span glulam gutter beams supporting rows of glulam arches which carry a tensioned membrane covering. |
