Abstract: |
The Lippo Flyover, completed for the opening of the VT3 Highway in October 2000, is located in Lempaala, Finland. The Lippo Flyover distinguishes itself from most cable-stayed bridges by how the users of the road experience the bridge. Highway traffic approached the Lippo Flyover laterally, enabling the cable-stayed bridge to be seen aesthetically at its best, both in terms of its structural form and lighting. Considerable attention was also paid to such details as individual parapets and paving. |
