Abstract: |
IV Bridge over the Guadiana river at BadajozIt is a cable-stayed bridge with a main span of 136 m and compensating spans of 88 and 32 m, that includes a six-span viaduct each one of 32 m, structurally continuous with the main bridge; the deck is 23 m wide, consisting of a central prestressed concrete box girder 11,4 m wide and a side cantilevers of 5,8 m. The suspension is achieved by 28 stay cables anchored in the center of the bridge deck in a single plane. The pylon is A shaped with a height of 81,2 m. The construction of the deck has been carried out span by span on temporary piers, and hunged from the cables once finished. |
