Abstract:

As the 2030s approach, the foundation is being laid for the next frontier of mobile communications: the era of 6G. Although 5G is not a mature technology in technological adoption, the industry is promoting this new paradigm of 6G networks. The reason for this rapid evolution, without letting the benefits of the first one bear fruit or be implemented, is none other than the advance of other complementary technologies such as: artificial intelligence, distributed computing and cybersecurity. This article presents the reason for this new network technology, and its challenges and synergies with the three mentioned technologies: artificial intelligence, distributed computing and cybersecurityKey Words: 6g, networks, AI, distributed computing, network security.
