Abstract: |
The Sancho el Mayor Bridge over the Ebro River, with a main span 147 m long, was designed in 1976 and built in 1978. More recently, a somewhat similar bridge with a 125-m-long single span has been built across the Lérez River, designed in 1992 and built in 1995. This second bridge may be considered an update of the main ideas that were first expressed in the Ebro bridge design. |
