Abstract: |
The Csepel II Combined Cycle Power Plant is a 389 MW Gas and Steam Turbine Power Plant providing electricity and district heating for Budapest. The power plant comprises two gas turbine units, two waste heat boilers, one bleeding/condensing steam turbine unit, and the required auxiliary systems such as fuel supply, cooling water supply and water treatment plant. To ensure the supply of district heating at a 90% availability rate, an auxiliary boiler and four hot-water boilers have been additionally installed. The 9500 m 2 plant is built on Csepel Island in the Danube River, close to Budapest's city centre. |
