Abstract:

This paper is focuses on advanced numerical FEM model of the global mechanical behaviour of CHS columns with SFRC infill at elevated temperature description. The proposed model was validated on experimental data and examples from literature and it is a foundation for numerous of numerical simulations generation in aim to develop simplified design tool, which will follow the coming changes in European standard for composite member design in fire in EN1994‐1‐2:2020.
