Eurocode 6 provides simplified calculation methods for masonry structures.
The main basics from Eurocode 6 are well known in Germany from DIN 1053-100, which already introduced semiprobalistic considerations for masonry structures.
The equations from DIN 1053-100 had been completed for partially supported wall-floor junctions. Furthermore an even more simplified calculation method was introduced for building structures up to three storeys.
