Punching shear reinforcement for semi precast slabs according to Eurocode 2The load bearing behaviour of special lattice girders functioning as punching shear reinforcement has been tested in full scale tests with 18 cm up to 36 cm thick semi precast slabs with horizontal composite joints. Varied was among other parameter also the arrangement of the precast plates. The determined punching shear resistance and the load bearing behaviour confirmed the effectiveness of this reinforcement. These tests had led to an European Technical Approval (ETA) based on Eurocode 2. |
