Abstract:

In December 2018, a team of student engineers and architects from the University of Cambridge took part in the Harbin Institute of Technology's second annual International Ice and Snow Innovation Construction Competition. The Cambridge design – the world's first sprayed-net, hyperboloid, lattice ice structure – won the Best Design and Construction Works Award in the competition.
