Abstract:

This article presents a co-designed technological solution of an orthosis with a specialized veterinary clinic and validated with a real case. The design of a prototype for an orthosis that allows a dog with mobility problems and ataxic gait to walk is presented. The design, printed using 3D printing and two polymeric materials, includes the integration of sensors in the orthosis and the development of the connectivity system, allowing the information to be accessible from a mobile terminal. Keywords: Orthosis, 3D Printing, Sensors, Pets, Prototype
