Innovative insulation materials for sustainability and energy efficiency in the building sector. The energetically restoration in the building sector is a prerequisite for reducing energy consumption in Germany. This is brought out through a description of the latest innovations in terms of insulation materials used, the environmental and economic aspects as well as a realistic estimate of the energy saving potential of substituted building components. The energy efficient restoration of existing buildings is an essential component of the energy transition. |
