Abstract:

Singapore’s Building Construction Authority has an initiative to promote productivity in the construction industry using prefabricated prefinished volumetric construction (PPVC) technology. This paper outlines the pioneering approach of using a reinforced concrete composite shear wall system in PPVC technology for construction of a 40-storey residential project.
