Abstract: |
In China, concrete-filled tubular steel structures have been the subject of research and development for more than thirty years. Many research achievements have been transferred to design and construction practices in China, resulting in a broad range of concrete-filled tubular steel structures for industrial buildings, electricity transmission masts, platform columns in underground railways, and for arch bridges. In this paper the types of long-span concrete-filled tubular arch bridges including their advantages are presented. |
