Abstract: |
The Ankara Combined Cycle Power Plant is a 770 MW Gas- and Steam Turbine Power Plant providing electricity for the capital city of Turkey, Ankara. The cogeneration plant comprises two gas turbine units, two waste heat recovery steam generating boilers, one bleeding/condensing steam turbine unit, and the required auxiliary systems such as cooling water supply and water treatment plant. The plant is 40 km from Ankara on an area of 58 500 mm². The paper presents the fast-track design procedure and the earthquake design of the main buildings. |
