Nevertheless, even for demanding heavy construction projects the parties involved try to keep the effort for foundation investigation very often below those standards leading to an adapted risk sharing involving considerable potential for conflicts.
For the setting-up of standard contracts the arising risks will be presented and recommendations for a useful consideration of geotechnical services in those contracts will be provided.
