Abstract:

All grades of member of the Institution of Structural Engineers are required to abide by the Institution’s Code of Conduct. This note is designed to clarify the steps that members should take when they identify, suspect or receive an allegation of wrongdoing (such as a potential fraud, act of bribery/corruption, unethical or improper conduct or behaviour). In such circumstances, members should consider how best to report and escalate the wrongdoing. Members should not ignore the wrongdoing or do nothing.
