Abstract:

The procedural generation and mass production of building models are still the current research hotspots. The WFC algorithm is a mass-production-friendly procedurally generated grammar. However, the inefficiency of making the modules required for the algorithm is always a challenge. This paper presents a scheme for extracting module prototypes automatically. First, we generate a parametric building model prototype. The system automatically extracts modules containing constraint information, then we use the WFC algorithm to mass-produce building models based on these modules. The outcomes of our experiments suggest that our framework is effective.
