Building a sequential turbo code with additional encoding of information bits

Abstract:

Turbo codes have the best correction ability in a data transmission channel with a high bit error rate, and are used in a variety of data transmission systems. This publication describes the possibility of improving the corrective ability of the sequential turbo code by additional encoding of information bits. A method for introducing the reliability coefficients of the decoded bits of the received code word of the turbo code is considered. A practical example shows the effectiveness of the proposed methods. The tasks of further research in this area are described.
