Bridge bearings of the present infrastructure - Know-how of the DB Netz AG.He average age of railway bridges of DB Netz AG is over 85 years. In consequence, there exist a high number of bridge bearings in this age as part of the present infrastructure. This paper wants to show that in particular the historic bearings made of steel are an essential part of railway bridges in the present time and with reasonable maintenance they will also be in future. |
