Fire design with masonry - Developments in standardization.The codes for fire design in Germany are currently under revision. All aspects that will be covered in the fire parts of the Eurocodes are to be deleted in a revised version of DIN 4102-4. A new version of DIN EN 1996-1-2, including corrigenda was published in April 2011. The German national annex shall be published these days as a stable draft. This paper highlights some of the most important rules of this new standard for the fire design with masonry in Germany. |
