Abstract: | When the medieval towns of the Crown of Aragon were able to develop and create urban spaces independently of royal or aristocratic pressures, they had three aims for their construction projects. The first was to develop services and infrastructure. The second was to plan public space. The third was to beautify the city and to develop its prestige and its environment. This article presents a brief corpus of forty-two examples illustrating this third objective. |
